Alaxis, Alex and Wyatt are in the Infirmary
Jonah is moving from shuttle to infirmary
Fox and Fenris are heading to main engineering, down the long tube
On the topic of the case:
I do not wish to tell you what to do, nor give away what is going on in this ship. So from a general perspective, you have a suitcase with a life form in it. You do not know what it is. The case is a stasis chamber now. To move it, you would have to switch the battery, take the oxygen and then haul it down the hall, down a shaft and through another hall and through a airlock doorway to the shuttle all at zero gravity. Now the chances of doing that without knocking, jossling or even flipping the case are not high. So let's suppose there is a small child in the case - you could easily kill them by moving it. Not to say that you may have to do the fast move, or you decide it is worth it.
Connect Alaxis life support to the case? Yes you could. However, what if the life form is in Stasis for a reason? Like a disease? Or a toxic exposure? Which is why stasis chambers are used in medicine so .... Consider the two body bags are sealed with duct tape along every seam.
Plus there is gravity. The case and whatever is inside it have been in stasis and zero gravity for about 5 years or so. To suddenly rush it to gravity could be quite the shock to the system.
Add to this the mystery of what happened here? I would think you want to know. If not for yourselves, the families of the crew here that was considered traitors and deserters by the independents. You might clear their names. Even without the treasure, the infirmary has a portable xray machine and other equipment you do not.
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy Hoildays. If I can post today I will, but I have sausage rolls to bake, people coming over, etc.
