First off, nice to join you all. I've been eager to get going on this. So, I'll waste no time on putting out my input and the like..
To start, Vitali is a highly defensive character. His primary talent is not killing people, but rather, keeping people alive. His advantages aren't of much use while on a out and around the ice, but when in a stationary position, he'll be very capable. Spatial Awareness, high Skill, and Batten-Down can be of extreme use in goalkeeping.
Secondly, he's not a big, tough character. He can't stand up to checks (Though he might outmaneuver them), but the MAJOR reason to stay in net is my disadvantage. All it'll take is getting caught digging the puck out of the corner, and You Go Ahead, I'll Be Fine kicks in. Then, he's the most useless thing on the ice. Even if he takes a puck in the face, if he's in net, he doesn't need to move very far to keep on guard.
Thus said...my setup is similar to that of Celeste.
Center: Downhouser. Capable of shoving his way down the ice, and clearing the road for the wingers. Furthermore, if the need should arise, he can just truck the opposing center and take the puck away from him.
Wings: Danyael and Katie. Danyael can bank off of Downhouser to bait the captain, and set him up for a world-class hit. The ability to neutralize a solid player is a good benefit. As for Katie, being able to handle the puck efficiently is extremely valuable. Also, she's badass.
Defense: Percy and Virago. Percy, for his good physical and skill. And his creepiness might get in the way of trying to take a shot on goal. Good for a last line of defense. Virago, for his high-angle capacity. Potential to NOT get killed while trying to clear the zone. And his ability to handle the stick could be useful for trying to keep aggressors off the goalie. Furthermore, he's extremely fit, meaning good ability to take down corner-diggers. Also, between Virago and Percy, that's six awesome points to put towards keeping our zone quite clear.
Goalie: Vitali. High skill and entire-orientation at defense makes him good for little else (Aside from trying to pick corners on the net, and even then, if he gets flattened in their zone, he's not getting back to ours) Also, being the new guy whom nobody knows anything about, it just seems that much more awesome when he snares some tough shots.
That said...let's get down to business!
