Umbronine suddenly took a sharp bank to the left and descended steadily. Coming close the ground he de-adtimevovled back into Pheo and began wandering around. Some time later, he took to the skies and looked for the rest of the group. Once he found them later on, he called out to them "You guys alright down there?" he dove to them and landed on the immeadiate right of Allen.

When Umbronine landed, he apparently let go of Me-Mow, who was still asleep.

Henry saw pheo hit a barrier in front of the portal causing him to drop his passengers. henry shook his head "figured it wouldnt be that easy" he said before continuing on.

raiuo hit the ground, HARD. he couldnt see, or breath. "Help" he yelled hoping to get somebodys attention.

(rai is stuck in the ground head first, his legs flailing)

Allen stood, looking at the large group that had appeared out of nowhere. "Who ARE all of you?" he asked (Argh, trying to prevent metagaming!), confused "Well, except Henry..." he scratched his head. "Man, I wish I knew what was going on." as he said this, two tendrils of black energy extended from his earrings to his temples, and after a few moments they broke away and dissolved.

"So... we're in some alternate universe?" he scratched his head again "That still doesn't explain who all of you are, though." he looked at them all and then realization hit "Wait a minute!" he declared "You, cat, and... hold on..." he yanked Raiuo from the ground and he spluttered for air "Yeah, you... weren't you fighting?" he turned to the large bird "And didn't you stop them...?" the trio responded only with Me-Mow's snoring and Raiuo's heavy breathing. "Whatever!" he declared "I just wanna get out of here... back to where I came from. I must have family or something waiting for me."

Allen began to storm off as a darkness descended from the sky. A huge vortex of blackness sucked the six of them (including Blue) into the center of the field, the grass of which quickly shriveled and died. A huge shadowy face emerged from the black void around them and looked on them with eyes of the darkest night. The face spoke then.

"Here ye, oh pathetic mortals. My servant shall soon indulge thy in his trials, and thy shall perish. Thy bodies will be broken and split asunder, and thy soul shall be fed to me. There is nothing thou can do other than pass the trials. Thy will be able to speak to one another, but my power will inevitably hold thy apart. Now, AWAY, TO MY PALACE!" he roared and the vortex closed in.

Allen, Me-Mow, Umbronine, Raiuo and Henry awoke each in an ornate castle, alone. A red carpet adorned the floor and stretched into the blackness while candles in braziers lit the immediate area. The darkness felt constricting and only the few doors spattered around the lit space gave any kind of solace, however remote.

Allen stood and looked into the distant darkness, noticing the slumbering dog next to him 'well at least Blue's here...' he thought "I wish Marceline was here." he murmured, and soon he stood in the darkness with the smiling girl accompanying him.

(even though we all know he will pass the trials, as we need him for reacurring villan purposes. but what im trying to say is: lone, please take raiuo and make him the villan we planned on him being because im tired of him eating all of my poptarts and hes just a terrible roommate in general.)
*thunk*
Henry hit the floor with a muffled thud.
"oof" he said.
henry stood up and looked around the room.
in front of him was a door with elaborate carvings on it and covered in glowing yellow runes. too his left was a bronze brazier, lit and giving of an unnatural warmth. to his right was a wooden table and chair. behind him was a painting of a great battle, however the warriors looked rather cutesy, making it look silly, the painting looked watery suggesting it was an illusion. there was supposed to be some tests, however he didnt know if there was somebody who said go or something, so he decided to wait, maybe practice his staffs powers.
many fails later......
henry concentrated on an image of a rat in his mind, willling it to become real. It kind of did, he ended up with a wispy bit of smoke that ended in a rat head.
"eh, what kind of abomination is this?" henry asked himself
the mouse head squeaked and started wiggleing across the floor.
henry picked it up and tossed it at the painting to see if it would go through.
*bshzapt*
the mouse thing was desintegrated.
"ooookaaay, not going that way" henry said to himself with a nervous chuckle.

Rawrin gulped again as he saw the trouble his friends were in. A painting on the wall in front of him was like a movie... a movie of his friends looking around the dark rooms of the castle. Suddenly the thing that had set challenges for them began to speak,"Before you lie 5 doors. 4 doors, 2 on your left and 2 on your right, hold slightly easier challenges. The 5th one in front of you at the top of the staircase is your way out. But before it will unlcok, the other 4 challenges must be completed. And if all of you somehow manage to overcome those challenges, you still have to defeat whatever lies beyond the 5th door... and believe me that will be much more difficult than the other 4. So, whenever you are ready, pick a door and we will begin."


OOC: Riaucard what do you mean by making Raiuo a villain? I can do it once I know what you mean by it. Please let me know before picking a door so I can make sure it happens.

As Me-Mow looked around, she felt another headache coming on, breaking her out of her frozen of fear state, and then...
"WHA!", she yelled, as she fell on the floor. The surrounding area was completely white...except for some doors around the area," I remember what that monster thing said in my dream. 'Before you lie five doors. 4 doors. 2 on the left, 2 on the right.', and this is the exact pattern of the doors. 2 doors to the left, 2 doors to the right. But...what do I do..."
She began thinking of Umbronine again, wandering why he seemed so familiar. Than thought of the people in her dreams, "What's going on?", she asked herself, as she felt around for a wall, when she felt her hand go into blank space. Her hand seemed to disappear, but it felt more like her hand was caught inside of a wall, she pulled and pulled, then finally got out. A painting appeared on the part of the 'wall' that she had placed her hand in. She saw 2 things, a vampire, a cat, and a black cat with red-ish fangs...
"Is that...me?", Me-Mow thought to herself...she needed to know what was going on...

Allen looked between the four doors in the now well lit, but still gloomy, corridor and hall. He glanced at the fifth door and sighed, 'Great, some random demon's trapped us all. I don't even remember who I am!' he thought to himself as Marceline examined the doors intently.

"I can see strange pictures on the doors, Allen." Marceline spoke and smiled. The teen walked over to the door she stood by and looked deeply at a small carving in the wood. On the first was a tiny face, scrunched up as though in massive concentration or pain. The second was a minuscule circle with a long beak. The third had a small skull, cracked open by a thin blade. The fourth had a crying face upon it and the fifth had a single round eye that had the illusion of watching him.

"This place is weird, Marceline." he huffed and sat at the bottom of the steps.

"C'mon Allen, it could be fun! Do the door with the circle, that one doesn't seem too bad." she smiled optimistically with a tone of encouragement.

"Yeah, but it could also be the worst thing ever." he stood anyway, in spite of himself, and moved to the door with the circle. "Here goes..." he winced as he edged the door open a crack, only to have it flung open wide and suck him inside with a single cry, sealing behind him. Marceline tried to yank open the door, failing abysmally. She sighed and sat, wondering why she hadn't been sucked in too, and began to play her guitar.

Rawrin observed as Allen was sucked into the door which sealed. He saw Marceline try to open it to no avail. He looked to his side and saw the demon thing sitting there watching the picture TV laughing. He quickly opened the book to the page where he saw his friends. He grabbed a pen next to him and wrote "Open Door 2" on the page.

Marceline heard a clicking sound from the direction of the door and checked the lock. "Hey guys! It's open!" She flew in.

the room shook as if it was moving. Henry was stuck in this small room and none of his friends were there to help or support him. henry continued to experiment with the staff, eventually createing a greenish blob. the blob looked unstable and might explode if met with a hard impact such as being hit or..... Thrown at a wall! henry picked up the blob and threw it at the door.
*ka-phump Boomb*
the door explodes! (doo-do-doo-doo-doo-da-doot) reveiling a hall way, that leads to another hallway...... With allen in it, and that floating lady who dissapeared before he could ask her name!
"finally, some people" said henry " i thought i might go crazy in that box of a room"

Allen hurtled through space as the door close by rattled, opened and then shut again. He could have sworn he saw Marceline enter and vanish before he was flung wildly about a room as though a creature held him in his clutches. Soon enough another door appeared, this covered with eyes and mouths, adorned with a film of black paint. 'Here it is, the challenge...' thought Allen as he was sped towards it 'Bring it on.'

Henry burnt his way through the wall, seeing the dark girl and Allen standing there. 'At last, people...' he thought as he moved over to them, the hole behind him sealing magically 'no going back now...' he shrugged and moved to Allen as Marceline began to fade. "Hey guys..." he said, but there was no response "Guys?" suddenly Marceline became whole and both turned to him with red flaming eyes and mouths leaking hellfire.

"Cheater! No one cheats with magic in here and gets away with it!" the distorted voice of Allen screeched as Marceline's altering body cackled. They now both stood as tall freakish humanoids, completely made of shadow, with flaring eyes and mouths. Both locked him in their gazes and the room seemed to fall away as they danced about him (like Howl's Moving Castle demons do...). He lapsed into unconsciousness as 'Allen' screeched and 'Marceline' cackled, soon awaking in the room he started in, however, this time his staff was gone. A voice emerged from all around him when he saw that 'Allen' and 'Marceline' had gone.

"Try to cheat again and I will take more from you." came the voice of the Palace-master "You will do the trials alone... and each time you cheat these trials get a fraction harder. Don't break the rules." Henry pulled himself to his feet and groaned, his hands feeling lonesome without the comforting feel of the staff.

(End of character intervention; just thought it was necessary to keep us alone... and in-character.)

As Me-Mow began to look around the room, she felt more items, and saw more and more pictures, alot of it just random like a picture of a black and white humanoid monster, or a fat-pregnant cyclops sitting on blank space. Others though, gave Me-Mow headaches, like seeing a picture with a grey princess with a black crown and 2 gems, and a picture of the...monster she saw earlier with the black version of herself! She saw in the picture, a portal behind the monster, and a black cat standing on 2 legs standing in front of the portal. Everything in the picture game Me-Mow a migraine that she couldn't stand one bit! She ran away, almost in tears, right into a door, breaking the door. The door sealed behind Me-Mow, as she stopped crying and looked back,"O.k...after this adventure, I'm going to need something to help my headache problems.", she looked behind herself as she saw the door seal,"Well, I guess I'm not going back.", she looked ahead, "Is this the challenge?"
She looked around the room, when the room began alternating black and white, and a floating humanoid-crystal like creature began floating around,"Are YOU my challenge?", all that happened was a flash, and Me-Mow was back in her original room, and the pictures were even more disturbing then before, almost murdering her brain, as literal painful memories came back, as if nukes were going on in her head. She didn't hear anything but,"...pain...", and "...suffering...", as she rocked back and forth. She wanted it to end.

'would think that i was supposed to go through that door' henry thought to himself. he looked around, everything was the same as before, although the painting looked more sinister and there was a scorch mark on the door. henry wondered what he needed to do to get out of this room, as this was obviously his challenge and if it wasnt, then what was his challenge? he looked at the brazier. 'perhaps there is a switch' thought henry, but there wasnt and the brazier was nailed to the floor so it wont be moveing any time soon. the only thing left was the table and chair, perhaps the answers he needed were on or around the table, there doesnt seem to be anything there at first glance, but.......

As Pheo entered the door and tried to acsend to get a better view of the area, the gravity in the room hit like a rock. He collapsed on the ground, not in pain but under the weight. The gravity let up minutes later. "What do I have to find? This makes no sense whatsoever." he thought to himself. When lo and behold, there was a gleam in the distance, like a star that was first in the night, as the candle being lit to take you through the dark tunnel. He moved as gracefully as he could under the gravity that was there, piroetting every so oft just because he could and it fit the tone of the narrative. He tried to saute but alas he could not, for either hither nor thither was enough to overcome the dastardly foe that was presented in gravity and the overwhelming sense of the pressing foe was felt in his midst. He made his way thither to the bright morning star, to the candle to the candle in the dark and his dastardly foe could not stop him. He approached the illuminescence when something happened. The Iggleschmitz, another fiendishly dastardly foe he just remembered "Oh, if it isn't my fiendishly dastrdly foe, I just remebered."
"Oh did you? Well that is wonderful, time to break up the happy reunion which is oh so sad as it just began. Mayhaps next time we can share stories of what we have done in each others absences."
"That would be swell Iggleschmitz, but hand over the object of illumenesence, for it is my way out of this oh so depreesing room of bland colours and tones." Pheo got the bright idea of trying to fly again and the gravity pressed on him and Iggleschmitz. The object of illumensence rolled toward him and he siezed it. As the gravity was letting up, he arose and laughed, fiendishly as gravity affected his fiendishly dastardly foe Iggleschmitz so much more than him, and he walked out of the room, closed the door and waited for the others to return.

"la la im bored la la really bored la la so bored that im singing about being bored la la" sang henry, the warlock who hated singing, although he was amazing at it. he had checked the table, there was nothing. he tried his magic, but it doesnt work in this room. he didnt notice the picture change into a blank canvas, the most boreing kind of picture imaginable, at least not at first anyway. after singing a song about cats, a song about sandwiches (he was getting a little hungry by then) and a song about some legendary warriors that set off to find some bear people (refrence to another game, yay), the painting changeing and moveing to each song, did he notice. 'woah' thought henry 'did i do that'
,then he had a great idea, he sang the sandwich song again and the picture changed into one of a subsandwich, he started to reach for the sandwich, but then he remembered the rat thing. he broke of a chair leg and stabbed at the sandwich, the table leg went INTO THE PAINTING impaleing the sandwich. henry pulled the sandwich out of the painting, and tried it, it was REAL and it was DELICIOUS. Then henry had another great idea, he sang a song about an open door, then the painting became one of an open door. before henry could put the chair leg through it, the painting transformed into a key, reveiling another door (that was open). henry picked up the key and went into the main hallway where the group started, still eating the sandwich.
