uhm...
William was holding the other guy up against a wall and staring him straight in the eye. I'm not sure how many movies you've seen, but everytime I see (in my mind that is) a big guy holding another guy up against a wall and threatening him, I can't really imagine him looking away just 'cause someone pricks him on the shoulder.

mmm
I didn't really imagine him turning his face but i can quite easily imagine his eyes glanching towards Ren.
And all Ren needs is half a second to capture em.

Yes, but
You still need to keep eye-contact while working your mojo, and a little glance is not enough for you to actually do that. Personally I have to side with Shounin on this one; I can't imagine William looking at Ren for more than a split of a second, not long enough for you to use Dominate on him.

Actually i think i just need eyecontact to start it.. after he captures someone the eyes should stay fixed.. you know.. it is called Mesmerize..

Actually....
You need to keep eye-contact through the whole process, or else it is not valid. Otherwise, it is too easy and should cost you a point of Vitae. Eye-contact is needed through the whole process, that is the Final Word.

Uhm
Yes..
I just meant that once the domination starts the persons eyes should be locked on the one doing the mesmerizing..
In other words the target would be unable to look away..
But meh.. Whatever.

Nah...
Actually, there is nothing that says that happens. Mesmerize can't make anyone stare at you, unless of course you order him/her to stare. If the book doesn't say it, it really depends on the character you're using it on.

Well..
Just think vampire movies.. or books.. When does anyone look away in the middle of being mesmerized..
That could be kinda funny though..
"Go and kill Every one *Looks away* Of those damn crickets.. Wait.. What are you doing with that axe.. Put that down.. Put it down i say.. Heeeeelp!!"

Update
So I've updated. It was a fun one, since now I finally got to do something about the Mage storyline
And GT, vampires in movies are not like the vampires in Vampire: the Requiem. There is a variant rule in Mythologies which I am not using that allows what you are talking about, but that is it.
Now feel the wrath of my annoyance

But… I only did it for the XP!
Are you giving out any experience for the last couple of weeks? I’m thinking of buying a new skill once I know how much I’ve got to spend.

This has zero relation to the game but…
Someone I was talking to last night told me an anecdote which basically revolved around having been charged £90 (about 120 Euros) for two Gin and Tonics while on holiday in Iceland.
I’m curious… does that sound about right? If so, why is alcohol so expensive in your country?
