sigh

Okay. I looked though the posts and unfortunately the equipment taken and not taken is vague - probably because I thought I was writing Ash off the game.

We have established in posts that Ash has the Pythons, the Peacekeepers and the 22 colt. As well he has the SPAS shotgun. I don't believe that Ash would go as sheriff without a rifle so I rule that he took the single shot 22 rifle (feeling that he wasn't fighting a war, just keeping the peace).

That leaves:
The Grizzley
The Justice Arms
and the Uzis

Yes, you can use an assault rifle at d6 skill. I was merely pointing out that you won't be as accurate with it as with the other weapons.

Seems right.....

I can go with that too. I hadn't been so keen on the rifles and automatics. I guessed that the shariff office had some rifles and the special assalt weapons would just be bulky. He really didn't need riot control. The same with his bombs. But his pistols would be with him, his small arms and his favorite shotgun ( Visions of Trish and her Pink blaster).

BTW isn't there an arms dealer in town that might give special help to rid the town of bad guys? A little body armor to stop the shots in the back could be handy. JW might even put in a good word and we could get some nifty toys, if we have to assult the mine.

Okay...just stop

This is Firefly! Not the foyer scene in the Matrix!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You didn't really meet up with too many arms dealers in town. They probably couldn;t get any cause Asher already created a shortage!!!

Geezzzz :)

You know sometimes Alacrity my friend, it seems like you go out of your way to kill the fun of your games......

Just because we want the firepower, doesn't mean we will use it, that all depends on what you throw at us. However its still nice to have it if needed.

sigh sigh

I go out of my way to make the game as much fun as it can be. I don't think anyone who games with me should suggest otherwise. in fact, I am trying to keep things fun for all. There is an excess to what is being suggested and I am trying to rein it in before characters who are suppose to be Big Damn Heroes go in and destroy a town of innocent people.

Remember the Pilot episode of Firefly? Jayne, Zoe and Mal know they are walking into a trap with Patience. Did Mal bring two machine guns, an assault rifle, a shot gun and his pistol? Does Jayne have Vera and grenades?

When they rescue the Doctor and River from the hillbillies that were gonna burn them - again Jayne is carrying one weapon, as is Mal as is Zoe.

So I'm trying to keep it "real" as in real for a sci-fi western. Firefly had a simplicity about it that made it wonderful (which the movie lost but that is another argument). So I would recommend you keep it simple.

BTW - the difference in range between the SMG and the assault rifle is 50 feet. That's all.

Perhaps the going overboard is my fault...

Wyatt did suggest loading for bear after all. But the concern for innocents is paramount. Wyatt would never condone blowing up a building or shooting up the whole of the town. He just wants to make sure they present well. If I can manage it Wyatt is going to accomplish the end goal of fixing the town with little to no bloodshed. If necessary I'll post something to the same as a "They may take our lives, but they'll ne'er take (the sky from me)" speech before the action starts.

And Al...you keep doing what you're doing brother. The game rocks.

My Apologies Alacrity / Bromern

Roger there are times when your lack of humor turns things totally inside out .

In my comment about you taking the fun out of your games I was being facetious as if I did not like your games, I would not play in your games. However I apologize once more for giving you, once again, the wrong idea with my sense of humor.

Also Lance my need for weapons of "Reach out and touch" had nothing to do with your post, so please don't consider this your fault, but my personal need and love of firepower and my wanting to be ready for anything.

Never did I intend to level the town, though it might have been fun in a weird Tann way .

Knotty boy......

Well I was kind of liking the idea of the "flashbangs" to stun. To knockout Winnie and then tie her up might lend to interesting adventure.

Eol and Van

I have enough here to post and think I might just to keep things moving. Wish Eol and Vanadia could get away from their RL for a few moments.

Ah, real life...

It is a wish shared by all I believe. Real life has me by the ankle right now as well. Looking for a new job as this one is having financial problems.

Hey I heard that the Destiny is really a Purple Belly's spy ship.

(Start rumors about copy cats.)

Durp......

WHAT!!!! It's just an interesting plot twist.

Doesn't it sound fun? Here they are, working hard to start over and then they get this tag hung on them. Adds tension, suspense and it's something they have to keep proving wrong. That would make for interesting story.

It could just linked to the ship, they find out it was a secret spy ship and now other folk remember the ship, so one plus one equals five.

Just interesting plot twists like being shot in the back!

You just want to keep Ash's room. A regular squatter if I do say so myself. Just enjoy your stinky cheese.
