Are there still spots?

As far as I was aware this was a continuously open game, but final word comes from Meri.

This 'game' is still active and always taking applications for new 'students'

An old and bent man stepped from the shadows, "School of Online Adventuring!?" he questioned.

"In my day we had to use wax to mark our stones of chance. None of that fancy bits and dashes either, good old fashion lead and paper was all we had to keep it all straight as we did it too." He bashes the end of his walking stick on the ground, "School, well let me tell you. We had to learn all that was Adventuring from the tip of a sword or the from behind the knowledge of the black arts, and if you were lucky you had a good cleric along for the ride to keep you all alive."

The old man then leans heavy on his stick, "But you know, this whole school thing an't a bad idea" He then looks up and with a angry voice, "Not that I would need any such schooling but you some of these upstarts that think they can just hack and slash there way to the top." He finds a near by seat and sits, "I blame those little black boxes with their fancy lights and ooo' aaa' buzzers, bells, and whistles..." The old man's chin slowly falls to his chest and a ever so quite snore begins and the falling and raising of his chest takes on a slow rhythm.

I've read the Q&A's and want play but I've never done 3 or 3.5. I've built a 4th character that I'd like to try to bring him in but I need to read some about 3.5 rules. I've played 2nd ed for a while and just stated 4th (gamed 3 times). Also I'm new to game by post. So gang are you ready for a Newbie?

Meri, as I said in my PM I'll adjust the character intro from rolling darkness and send that and my 4th ed sheet info. In the mean time I just got a 3.5 PH and I'll see if I can make some sense of it.

Okay... I've been 'running' this for a little while, but due to my current pregnancy I am unable to continue to do so. I'm looking for someone interested in picking up the role of DM.

I am looking for someone who is familiar with not only 3.5 but also has been a member for at least some period of time and participated in games here before in order to be a good tutor for new members.

Steelight has been helping me out quiet a bit in the past few months with this game and has stated he is willing to continue in this capacity but is also unable to take it on completly by himself.

If you are interested in taking on this responsibility please let me know via a PM.

As I am entirely new to play-by-post, I unfortunately cannot help there.
I was hoping to join as a student, so I'll go back to the first few posts and send in a char--- uh, send it to Meri or the new person, when they step up?

As Merideth is semi-away from the Inn due to her pregnacy and there is no real DM at this time, you may want to email her or PM her first before you create a character. Once she returns there is a good chance that she will restart the game once more.

Yes... I am still unable to find the time and energy to play anything currently. I still have another four months until my due date and not sure when I shall be able to return to my full roles around here.

I am going to de-magnatize this thread from the top of the list for now.

If someone is interested in picking up the role of DM please let me know!!
