Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Aaaand, that's a wrap! It took ages (and three artists) to get here, but finally, the opening chapter to Loaded Dice comes to an end.

I'd like to take this space to thank those very three artists: Tiana Jackson, Lyra Logan, and Annick Huber.

Also, thak you to the numerous people who contributed guest and filler strips. Thank you, one and all!

Today's strip was colored by Brittanny Connolly, the new Loaded Dice artist. She brings a style all her own, and will be taking over the art (and color) duties starting with strip #70 (chapter two). Welcome!

Finally, thanks to all of our readers for sticking with us through thick and thin. A lot of comics pay lip service to this, but please know that I geuinely appreciate each and every one of you. Hopefully, we will continue to produce a comic that you find worth your time.

Script for this strip:
Ray: "Okay, I have to give it to you, Steve - that was pretty cool."

Rich: "Nice wrap to the story."

Tim: "That's one of the best stand alone adventures I've been in since... probably since pretty boy here was in middle school."
Brad: "Hey!"

Steve: "Glad that you guys enjoyed it. I had a blast... even if I didn't bury any of you."
Brad: "You came close enough!"
Rich: "No kidding... one die roll from killing us all!"

Amy: "I was on the edge of my seat. It would have sucked for us all to die right there."

Ray: "Oh, man... it's three A.M.!"
Amy: "That would be why I have two more voice mails."
Tim: "I've got to go to work in the morning!"
Brad: "What about our xp and levels?"

Steve: "Well, would you guys like to make this a campaign, and not just a one shot deal?"

Rich: "You bet!"
Tim: "Absolutely!"
Ray: "Why not?"
Amy: "I'd love to!"
Brad: "Sure."

Steve: "Okay, then. Leave your character sheets here, and I'll make necessary adjustments. Next time, we'll jump right into the adventure, without any more long delays."

Ray: "Don't look at me like that!"

Tim: "Sounds like a plan... I can't wait to play with you guys again!"

THE END OF CHAPTER ONE
