Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Ta-da! Please enjoy the first "real" script of chapter two.

This one took me ages to write... I kept scrapping things and starting over, then finally decided that I *had* to finish a script. Oddly enough, I think that it turned out really well.

Obviously, I am very pleased with Brittany's work. It will take a while for her to make the comic her own, I'm sure, but I think that she is off to a wonderful start.

Script for this strip:
Steve (narrator): "We rejoin our adventure as the party makes their way towards the town nestled in the green valley ahead. Spring has arrived, leaving the cold memories of winter behi..."

Brad: "Now hold on a cotton pickin' minute! What happened after the end of the last adventure?"
Amy: "Yeah... last we heard, we were still in the mountains and it was winter."

Steve: "Fine, fine. You guys made it out of the mountains and spent the winter doing odd jobs in the town of Dunbar. You didn't get rich..."
Tim: "No surprise there."
Steve: "...but you did make enough money to support yourselves. No real net shift on your treasure entries."

Brad: "Yeah, whatever. You haven't told us if we leveled up!"
Ray: "It *would* be nice if Jhim could do more than cast 'magic peashooter' once."
Tim: "I'll make a note that your knight doesn't want any magical help, then?"

Steve: "Yes, everyone leveled up. Which is good - you'll need the extra hit points for this adventure."
Tim: "How do you manage to make even good things feel bad?"

Steve: "Why, I work long and hard at it. It's so nice of you to notice!"
