Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Technically, I guess that they could just say, "Hi, we're here to kill you." But if they have some sort of subtle plan, that would probably wreck it.
The summoned monster art is awesome. He kinda seems to be just chillin' a bit, no problems here... but if you make a false move, he might fly over and chomp off your face.

Script for this strip:Steve (narrator): “The night passes without further incident. As you are making your morning preparations, you hear the main entrance door creak open in the adjoining room.â€
Ray: “No way we can ignore that. The two fighters will take the lead â€" Amy, keep your ranger as the rearguard.â€
Tim: “Sounds like a plan to me. My mage will happily stay behind the meatshields.â€
Steve (narrator): “You rush to the entrance room to find that two unkempt barbarians dressed in furs have just entered the monastery. When they see your weapons, they lower their own.â€
Rich: “So, friends or foes?â€
Amy: “Um, we could just ask them, you know.â€
Brad: “Yeah, like that will do any good. It’s not like they’re gonna say ‘Hi, we’re here to kill you!’â€
Ray: “Okay, Faustus will talk to them. Ask why they are here, all that jazz.â€
Steve (narrator): “The barbarians answer Faustus’ questions in broken Drannese.â€
Barbarian #1: “Big cold. Come in from freeze.â€
Barbarian #2: “Yes, big cold.â€
Ray: “They smile too much. I don’t trust them.â€
Brad: “Me either. Steve has put these guys here to stab us in the back.â€
Tim: “I have an idea. My mage will cast an illusion.â€
Jhim: “You may stay, but if you betray us, my servant Bhalvabael will feast on your souls!â€
Barbarian #1: “We not betray! We friendly!â€
Barbarian #2: “Yes, we friendly!â€
