"What Took You So Long?"

Yep, Rich had 'em right where he wanted 'em. Just some well-placed dramatic tension, nothing to see here.

Olan's thoughts for this strip:
I have been asked why Rich/Ladan had not been turning the undead already - I think that Rich sums it up well. What's the point in turning a lone zombie or two skeletons?

Also, for the uninitiated, "T.P.K." stands for "Total Party Kill", aka, "Party Wipe" - everyone in the group dies, the players throw dice at the GM, and a new adventure is forceably started.

Script for this strip:
Ladan: “By the power of Solanis, I command you foul creatures to flee! Back, lest the power of the sun burn you to ash!”

Steve: “Solanis responds to his cleric’s plea, forcing most of the undead away from the party. The last couple are easy to mop up.”
Brad: “Whew, that was close!”

Ray: “No doubt! I thought we were in for a T.P.K. for sure!”

Rich: “It’s nice to be more than a walking band-aid.”

Tim: “Good job, man… but what took you so long?”

Rich: “Well, we didn’t need it before. No sense in turning something we can beat… and worry about it jumping out to get us later, anyway. Looked like we needed it then.”

Amy: “…and you get to look like a hero.”
Rich: “And I get to look like a hero.”
