Unfortunately, gamer stereotypes exist for a reason. Sure, there are many of us who don't fit the mold... but there are probably more of us who do.C'est la vie.

Olan's thoughts for this strip:
So much for those romantic notions. So one of two things happen now, right? Either Steve avenges his broken heart on Amy's hapless character, or he grabs on to fantasies of unrequited love, and acts like a total sap. Right?

Or maybe, we simply get back to the game. I think everyone would appreciate that.

Script for this strip:
Steve: “After the fight, you…”

Brad: “Hold on a cotton-pickin’ minute! We’ve been at this for hours, I need a bathroom break!”
Tim: “No doubt! I could use a smoke break, too.”
Rich: “And a snack break!”

Steve: “Okay, okay… let’s take five.”

Amy: “Guess I’ll call him back… three voicemails already.”

Steve: “Who’s she calling?”
Ray: “Her husband, I’d guess.”

Amy: “Yes, I’m still here!”

Steve: “She’s married???”
Ray: “Yep, ‘fraid so.”

Amy: “We’re gaming, of course. What do you think we’re doing?”

Steve: “He doesn’t mind her hanging out with a bunch of guys until the wee hours?”

Amy: “I’ll be here ‘till we’re done with the adventure. Bye now!”

Ray: “Dude, have you seen us? Would YOU be worried?”
Steve: “Touché.”
