Hunting Troglodytes
based upon any number of celtic/irish drinking songs
Oh farmers get your hoes,
And some torches, here you go,
The beasts will never bother us again!
Our Ranger knows them well,
He can track them by their smell,
We will hunt them to the very very end.
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Come on and get your Sword!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Through the lowlands and the moors!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round of gin!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round and we'll begin!
Innkeeper, pour the beer,
And a shot or two, my dear,
To our courage as we head out to the fens!
There more of them, it's true,
But we'll give what they're due,
A thrashing from which they'll never mend!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Come on and get your Sword!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Through the lowlands and the moors!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round of gin!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round and we'll begin!
Townfolk are at the pub,
Have a pint and eat some grub,
And we'll meet here when the hunt is done!
If I'm more brave than you,
Then lets have another brew,
For soon we will have them all upon the run!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Come on and get your Sword!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Through the lowlands and the moors!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round of gin!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round and we'll begin!
Troglodytes, Troglodudes,
Ugly. Smelly, Green and Rude,
And we're not sure where it is they live!
So let's tap another ale,
Cause you're looking rather pale,
And tonight a care we really couldn't give!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Come on and get your Sword!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Through the lowlands and the moors!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round of gin!
We are hunting Troglodytes!
Another round and we'll begin!
Thanks to Roger (Alacrity) Briant for this contribution!
