The Pain of Being a Dwarf
I look around Seeing Pointy Ears Seeing Longbows and swords Why am I the only Dwarf? I feel my beard Thick, Dirty, Tangled I run a finger over my axe blade I step back, elves everywhere Why am I the Only Dwarf? I drink my ale I eat my meat They drink their wine and eat their leaves Why am I the Only Dwarf? I may be small I may be crude But at least I dont hide in trees Why am I the only Dwarf? Their Ears so big Their Feet so light But yet they still hide behind a bow Why am I the only Dwarf? In a party, 2 Elven mages 1 Half-Elf thief, 1 Half-Elf Ranger 1 Dwarven Fighter Why am I the only Dwarf? In a tavern I drink my ale alone They drink their wine together Why am I the only Dwarf? The doors open up And a Dwarf kind enters The Cleric type sits next to me Why am I the only Dwarf? We drink our ale We Eat our Meat Hes joins us and fights the evil Now whos lonely?
