Good stuff, as usual. Always great plot twists where Olan is concerned and Annick's art just gets better and better.

as i read this strip my mind started flooding with possible sollutions.

If one of the party has a shield, Dalana can stuff herself and the party in the fireplace and use the shield as a "door" to the opening (hey something similar worked in Independence Day during a massive explosion in a tunnel).

Or, depending on the time available to them, she could try a heal check on the cleric to stabilize him (and don't they have any healing potions?)and hopefully he has the prayer Create Water, to put out the flames.

That is what a great DM can do for the game. Just like a cat playing with mouse. Keeping the emotional roller-coaster going until they died. I do hope they make it out alive but where is the help going to come from?(Hmmm)

Hope Dalana had three slots to spend on the Healing NWP. Rangers in 2ed drew their NWP from Warrior, General and Wizard (????) lists, and so couldn't buy Healing for 2 slots like Clerics could. I know, right? Makes as much sense as Constitution being the primary stat for Concentration Checks.

That shot of Amy in the first panel is, imo, vybeosa's best work in the strip thus far! The redditors who are voting this down are at least doing so quietly if that counts for anything.

The classic Olan Sudden Death scenario. Pick a friend to save, but don't pick the wrong one. I've been there before.
