Alright I wanna try to get some life back into the chat rooms by reviving chat room games. Im going to start fishing for some players at 8:30pm (Central time America) Wednesday and Friday night this week and then Fish next week for players Tuesday and Thursday also at 8:30pm (Central).

Basically how it will work is I will have a small adventure prepared and pre gen PCs of various classes and will pm the characters to interested parties and run them in the adventure (just pop'em on in there like they were always there, lol).

These dungeon crawls and hack n slash games will run no more than 3 hrs per session. PCs may come and go as they please, and I will allow anyone to take over previously played pcs or assign a new one to a newcomer.

After Thursday of next week, whichever day garnered the most players will be the day I pick to run "pick-up" games on a regular basis at 8:30pm sharp from then on. I promise to TRY MY UTMOST BEST NOT TO FLAKE OUT ON ANYONE DUE TO REAL LIFE.

I do wish i could join, and im happy that my idea piqued interest, but due to horrible time zone placement, i shall very likely be unable to attend.... however, if i can help at all, plz post at me or pm me...

haha, horrible timing, that right in the middle of my college class XD, oh will, I will more than likely lurk instead afterwards to see how it went.

8:30pm Central begins as the time when I can be on the site for an uninterrupted period of time. If there is a better time for any of you, Im open to suggestions though I will be more susceptible to "honey-do"s. So if you can be patient with intermittent breaks I would be cool with trying to run games at other times.

Oh BTW, I have a decent variety of PCs created for tonight's game attempt (about 15 pc running the gambit from barbarian to wizard and most races).

Had Two players tonight, and we're not done yet (Kinda got a late start). In fact just getting to the good stuff. Our two intrepid heroes needs your help, so pop in this Friday at 8:30pm central and claim your characters.

im in the pacific time zone... but computer access on a day to day basis is rather sketchy, and the Inn is blocked at 9 p.m. pacific time

Friday went pretty good, we had three players though one was just watching for a while he took over one of the PCs already in play when a player had to leave.

this week's 'fishing' days will be tuesday (tomorrow), and thursday both at 8:30 pm central time. Im leaving the weekends alone because I see very few members here during the week end (and my D20pro game is on sunday 3pm to 11). Still hoping to reel in about 3 more players per session. So if you can make it, please do! The two PCs could use the help. They've made it into the cavernous dungeon and presently out matched!

I will be a projected maximum of fifteen minutes late for tonight's game.

Just popping in to do an update. My appreciation to T_O and Dvoloshin for their interest, help, and understanding. Looks like Tuesday may be the day! I'm still going to run on Thursday this week and we'll see how that goes. Haven't seen Celeste about lately. Anyone know what she's up to?

Tonight was off the hook! A little rocky at times too. My boy Pyroboom drew first blood and last on the gibbering mouther with a fireball. T_O, Takley,Lord of Magic were also there.

They all did a great job and were patient with me as I learned what a job I had on my hands and how much I've bitten off to chew.

For all those that participated in the "Player Fishing" period, Thank you so much and I look forward to any feed back about the adventure and the way I DM. The day looks as if it will be on a Tuesday or Thursday. I will probably run on those two days next week to make my final decision.

I must apologize for the anticlimactic nature in which I ended the adventure. I just didn't intend to run it for three sessions at 2.5 to 3 hours a session. there were to be three encounters: The preview encounter with the gibbering mouther, three CR3 bandits, and the final encounter with the Mouther. Well the main objective was accomplished and i wished to move on to another adventure. Things will be rocky, nothing new is ever easy, but please don't let that keep any of you from joining in the fun. It can only get better!
