COME ON SLACKERS
I'm going to make a bet with the other players of this game.
I will be the first person to post after the DM every time in order to make sure no one else has to go "well I don't want to be first".
If you manage to beat me, however....my character will make you a magic item of your choice (within his ability). Fair?

Deal.
With just one question... does this magic item have to be made right away, or wait until you have a higher ability so that we can get the item we want?

good question
Well, I'll have to get time in game to make it, but it will be based on the current level. I don't want you to have to wait forever for your item.

Alright, you're on.
I'll take that wager. I was out all last night, that's why I didn't get to it until today. But you're on buddy.
I'm determined to get at least one magic item...

Activity
I feel that, in line with Suis challenge above that I should possibly bring something up that is on everyone's mind.
MorK has now been inactive for 4 days, I suggest that to keep the game moving that if a player has been inactive for something line a week that the game continues without him. It's mean but unfair on other players if someone goes inactive and the game has to stop.
I know games have included things like this before, maybe it would be a good idea. But it should be voted on.
Is it unfair to have a rule excluding players if they go inactive for a certain period of time?
If so then how many days?
I'm in favor and I think 7 days is a suitable length if notification isn't given. I also think that the PC bellowing to the inactive player should be NPCed so he can come back if the player becomes active again.

This is not a democracy!
Because I've already got plans for situations like this
if a player doesn't post anything before the one week deadline, he will be NPC'ed by me to the best of my ability on how the character would act. IF you do know you will not be able to get a post in on t ime, just PM me some simple actions on what your character will want to do, and I'll abide strictly by that PM. If a character goes inactive for an extended amount of time ( 4 weeks probably) he will be dropped.

Good, democracy usually doesn't work too well anyway.
It's the best we have but... *cough* it's a bit sad this is the best system we can come up with.
I'm glad that the game wont end up waiting for players but I do hope that MorK manages to post soon, it would be such a shame to have to lose a player so soon.

What! Markus is a good player, I liked his character and him. Why'd he drop out?

ack
we went from 6 to three in the first week????
PnP gaming is always hard to keep a group going. Can we still run the game with three if we are unsuccessful in recruiting replacements?

Is
That slot still open?
I don't have any eberron books or complete adventurer or warrior, but I have PHB, DMG, and Spell Compendium. I don't know anything about Eberron, and I'm still learning to system. If it's okay with everyone and doesn't seem like a hassle, I'd like to fill that last slot. It might take a few days for me to make a character, I've never made one above 1st level.

well
With markus staying we still have room for one more player I think, yes, someone to replace gruggles.
I can sort you out with a copy of the Eberron books if you want them.
