test of strength?
Beau watched the display curiously, trying to figure out what he was going to do with his cart until the caravan arrived. He thought about adding input, but he didn't want to interject knowing only what he did. He might enjoy the show though, if these two decided to have a contest. Still, he was going to have a long journey ahead of him, and one or both of these two might prove useful. Ah, screw it. he thought and decided to speak anyway.
"If it's a test of strength you wish, I have an idea." It wasn't exactly Beau's place to speak, but he was tired of fitting into this town.
**assuming there is interest**
"We'll need a rope and we should probably go outside."
**assuming that is done**
Beau hands each of them one end of the rope and draws a line in the road. "The first one across this line, loses. The goal is to pull the other person across it. If you let go of the rope you lose." Beau lifted his hand in the air, checking to make sure the line was centered between them and brought it down swiftly. "Begin!"

oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh
A human was running as fast as he could through the people, trying to make it to a certain tavern near first tower. He kept apologizing to people he bumped into, and he finally got through the crowd and broke off down the path the the Inn in question. As he bursted through the door, all the patrons turned to stare at the human male gasping for breath with his hands on this knees. He felt light headed so he sat down. When the serving lady asked him if he'd like anything he told her a water. She dissappeared for a few minutes and then came back with his water, and he walked up to the actual bar. "Yeah, I heard recruiting was going on here. Am I late or can I still do that?" As he spoke, he noticed the man talking to the orc and hobgoblin, and he looked slightly strange to the human.
He carried his backpack with him, and his armor was in that. He did, however, have his longsword strapped to his belt. His hair was dirty blonde, and it hung down to his shoulders. He also had dark brown eyes that seemed as if they burned with conviction.
