Dron seems to be waiting for answers from the Mercenary representative. (Say, do you think sir we might have are questions answered. Before all these farmer an hard working people. March or sail to there deaths or worse.)

Dron seems to be pressing the man for information.

The man thinks of the questions as more people come and sign up. He strokes his chin for a moment, then taps his studde leather loudly, all the while thinking.

" Well, all I know is that I'm here to get signatures, and to have lovely people like these..."

He sweeps his arm infront of him, motioning to the crowd who already signed up.

" paid to fight for a good cause. Any questions about the expedition can be asked tomorrow at the caravan starting spot, and even some will probably be answered just be showing up. Now, please either sign up or leave as I've got a few more stops on my list."

He looks at Dron, and anyone else who had asked a question ignoring the even simplest of request. Clearly this man has a one track mind.

Eleak looks at the man as he makes his announcement, ruling over the crowd, and telling the crowd what to do.

"Ugh, a controller. He isn't even listening to that guy asking all the questions. What a sapling... Well, these monsters are burning the trees down, so I better get in quick to sign my name down, lest Obad-Hai punish me for hesitation."
Eleak pushed his way through the crowd of indecisive people toward the list. "Alright, outta my way, outta my way, I'm signing up!" Eleak reached out and grabbed the quill, dipped it into the ink, and wrote down:

Beau had quite a bit to think about, but mostly he was just trying to find the best way to find warriors. The truth was, he may have found....one so far? Still, there were warriors out there, and heading to a battlefield would be useful in and of itself.

Beau nodded to the man. "I need to get a few things. Where should we meet you to prepare to head out?"
Beau left the inn after getting his answer and went looking for a local shop.

You see Dron jot down something on what looks like a small paper pad.

Beau paused on his way out the door and turned back when he was called. He shrugged and nodded at Dron.

"Sure Dron, just don't slow me down or I'll leave you behind."
He stepped out the door and started on his way.

Beau headed out from the inn and straight to a cartwright. He had tasks to complete, but in the mean time, he made small conversation with the person following.

"So, Dron. You're a caster is it?"

Dron says( Yes Beau Iam a user of Battlemagic and a student of the Arcane Congress, in Arcanix.)

(How about you my young friend. What studies do you endeaver to learn. A fighter, a clergyman purhaps?)

Beau pondered the thought as he reached the cartwright. "I guess you could call me a fighter." When he spoke he tapped the crossbow at his side. "I can take down a warrior or two on the field." He then pondered for a moment. "You're not the kind that carries all those books around are you?"

He entered the cartwright and bought a cart. He then realized he had a new issue. "Dron, can you help me with this? If we each carry one rail it shouldn't be too bad."

They headed out of the cartwright and Beau said "Ok, where did you need to go?"

The mercenary wasn't giving anything away, he had his job to do and Damocles understood that but still, he could have told something. At least they now knew they would be traveling by caravan the long way round, up the Dagger River only to go back down the other side and then cross country to the battle. This answered other questions, as it would be days before they got there, they would have a scouting party ahead.

He received his look from the man with a half smile and was on the point of asking how long before the caravan is ready when Beau asked "I need to get a few things. Where should we meet you to prepare to head out?". He waited for the answer before leaving the inn.
"I need to pick some things up from my home in Sharn, if anyone is going that way I'd be happy to join them."
He payed for his drinks and made the short walk to the Lightning Rail station and purchased a ticked for Sharn, it was only stowage but the journey was short.

Dron grabs the Cart handle. says (Alright lets roll). ( I need to go buy the general store a pick up a few odds an ends for some spells).

Beau totes the cart with Dron's help to the general store, smiling the whole way like a boy in a candy store. Well, I guess the situation isn't far off.

"You didn't answer. So you don't use a book for your spells?"

(Iam a wizard so I need a book to study spells from. I memorize them each day.) ( I carry with me what is known as a traveling spell book.) (I keep it tied to my person at all times). (My main spell book is hidden at all times to keep it safe).

"That's neat. So you have lots of spells in your books but just your battle spells in your traveling books?"
The two eventually arrived at the general store. Beau waited out front with the cart while Dron made his purchases. When he came back out, Beau had more questions.

"Do you wizard types trade and stuff to get more spells?"

Dron Smiles ( I dont have lots of spells. My teachers only gave me enough to get by). ( I have all of my spells in my little travel spell book.) Shows the leather bound, book with a some strange symbols on the cover.( This is it all I have besides my Wisdom an Intellegence to defeat are enemys young Beau). ( I made a vow to use my art an skill to help those less fortunate an protect people).

(Yes, I would trade spells with other mages if I deemed them of good Character an a Promising Friend).
