where we stand
Still awaiting a post from Raven and Tann.
I'm need a bit of detail as to where people are. Merideth and Crow are off to the .... to use weapons. Brandr and Peter are digging ...... of the castle. Noctus is busy and Derry is .... to help. Is anyone supervising the explosives?
You can post here or in the game just if you want to be specific, it is helpful. Otherwise I will move you like a pawn in a meaningless game played by a mad, hungry, bored and arbitary god.

Ela
Was going to someplace that seemed less 'red' on the hemisphere. As she is using her bow she would probaby like someplace that has less trees just for comfort sake and since it seems like most of the current 'attackig' of the bubble is near the trees that seems to work well. So perhaps moving over toward the lawn on the West side of the manor...
Yeah that should work. *nod nod*

positioning
I can't speak for Raven/Brandr, I'm not even yet sure that he's agreed to the proposition of digging, but Peter will walk over to wherever the boys with the shovels are. If they have already begun digging, Peter will continue the hole that they've started. If not, I can't really imagine Peter wandering off too far, he might take a couple steps away from where everybody else is experimenting and if no one else there and he can see clearly enough through the bubble, his logic would probably recommend digging right into the main path. Directly south on the map.

explosives
Noctus moved the opposite direction of the wagon but did try to point the driver to a secluded spot away from the diggers and crowd.
As for weapons and such, Noctus would never go anywhere without his sword, armor, hat and cape. Would be unseemly to be seen in "common dress".

Post I will
Tomorrow, my time.
As for digging, yeah I dig... the castle. However, although considering digging under the bubble, I would not suggest the road for two reasons. First of all, the roots might reach that far and still block the way. And second, the road, after years and years of use, is without a doubt a lot harder than the ground elsewhere.
Brandr and Peter might break sweat! O.O Sweat and armor... The stink sticking into the metal... Wouldn't be nice around the ladies, now would it?
Details, details, I know. But I'd suggest we go around to the side and dig where there are no apple trees. If not for any other reason, then just to make Brandr look good.

diggin
Sounds good about the digging. I imagine Peter thinking in simple straightforward ideas that are not always the brightest so you might have to remind him that it doesn't make sense to dig right down the main path.
And thanks for the note Tann, it seems I looked over something again. My post will be altered to reflect that.
Loving the game so far guys,

Next on Mythbusters - can moonshine destroy a magic shield
So Ela and Crow to the West, Peter and Brandr will start to the left of the roadway, then also moving west to get away from roots. Derry is moving with the Diggers, but hanging back with the apprentice. Noctus is off somewhere private acquiring a general map of the castle from a local. The young men with the wagon are working to the east by themselves, piling all the earthenware jars against the shield. Judging by the wagon set up about 30 yards away flipped on its side for cover, you think they may have done something like this before.
I am going to assume that if you find a way in, you are going to take it so we don't spend too much time hanging around.
You might wish to discuss amoungst yourself a basic "marching" order so I know who is usually first, who opens the doors, who checks for traps, who gets hit with the traps, whose turn is it to buy a round, etc etc etc.

The best laid plans of warriors, rogues and mages . . .
I suppose we should develop a marching order and such.
Desiderius happily offers take the mages typical place in the middle of the pary protected by all the suits of armor.

guard the mage
Noctus would likely guard the mage or take rear guard.

Yup
... with Brandr beside or one step behind him. And that's not due to fear of getting hurt, but because he knows the limits of his armor and way of fighting well enough. The "tin-man" can the heavy blows, but the blonde barbarian will be close by to cover his phancy ass.
In the probable case that healing is needed, Brandr will do anything he can to let Peter move back do his job.
Traps are someone else's problem. Crow's I'd take it.

And I volunteered for that job why??
Yep that be me in front and looking and checking EVERY door and EVERY step for traps. Al never think if a hallway looks empty and a door is open I'm not checking for traps.

Am I last to post here?
huh...
At any rate. If Crow is up front checking for traps and such Ela is watching his back, ever viligant while he is bent over studying some lock or device.
So I guess that puts her second.

Traps? Really?
Come on, you don't honestly think our dear game master would actually set traps for us do you?! I'm shocked!
But ok, Crow can look for them.
