About actions

While Steelight has a good point in calculating the moves I would like to point out a few things myself.

1 2-4 bugbears (which with the exception of Steelight was what hogtied the rest of us) would be able to cumulatively do all required to hog tie us.

2 Actually Tus hate to bust your bubble yet again but with real game mechanics Ray of Frost doesn't even do what Tann described little own more.

3 Tann you lost my puppy! What happened to that ally that waiting on caused me to be hog tied?

4 while we're instructing we already know that Tann is one of the those Innmates that refuses to learn 3.5 in deference to 2.0 so he made up his own battle system. While a nasty surprise he's not the only one running a home made battle system. We just need to adjust. There will be different systems in use in every game we join. A good example is Season of the Witch where Tek tore us apart literally. (And by us I mean everyone except me ) Though with that as your defense Tann I for one would appreciate a better explanation of your system so that we could adjust or we can unemotionally help you learn 3.5's battle system. So we're not so easily toasted next time. Or we could have you translate the game to 2.0 since all that would change thus far is our character sheets, and we could continue on in 2nd.

5 while Tann did dismiss the class he gave us homework and perhaps he will teach based on our answers. Tann is a new teacher at the school we don't know his style give him some time before we start grilling him or do it in character.

I fully understand Steelight's frustration. In my pride I'd hoped I was a little better than a first round kill in any fight, but I wasn't fool enough to think the outcome wasn't predetermined. After all there was twelve of them and six of us. Bugbears in 3.5 have a CR of 2 I believe. While our own average level is 1. There was going to be defeat all over the place. The only ones who could stand up to a bugbear face to face is me and Steelight. So sure Steelight could have taken his first opponent but eventually he was going down too. It was a fun post to read even if it wasn't exactly routed in rules.

Except you? Wait a minute you little dwarf! I'm the only one who got out of that skirmish without any damage... okay so Thea's unconcious... that was my doing though *wink*

Players...

Please make sure you note the last post on the prior page for your 'assignment' for the week.

Reminder

Yes Monday night is for dreaming... although it seems you went on without my answer... good job Steel... and Wolf.

Now for the rest of you... don't make me pull out that ruler!

I will be moving the game on Saturday, got something in mind for you all that I think you might enjoy (going to try my hand at something new here...) but I hope to have your dream sequences in before then.

I'm dreamy

Woot inspiration hit me just in time. And look I've built more onto my history.

Tuesday!

Well I got four lovely dream sequences. They almost make up for those who didn't post...

Well... at any rate. I've moved us into Tuesday morning. I will plan on posting up more of the 'revolt' Wednesday, but please feel free to work on some RP until then.

sorry

Sorry about not posting quickly for the dream part, my bad

I decided to use Ion's trick and backpost for my dream. I hope I did it right, if I did anything incorrect could someone please tell me so I won't make that mistake in the future, thanks

I'm also trying to take charge and quell this imp revolt thing. Hopefully it will be a little easier to beat up imps rather than bugbears

Also just as a side note, if we face on the imps were just supposed to rough them up, not actually use leathal force on them?

We can always get new Imps

To me, if they revolt they turn aganst the school. That means the use of whatever force necessary to quell the rebellion is acceptable. After all, they likely won't be holding back. I'm not going to allow myself to be injured worse just because someone says so. (That would be my character's point of view anyway).

Well, I think...

That perhaps you should decide how to handle this imp situation after:

a) you have actually seen what is occuring; and

b) your characters have perhaps run your idea by the Professor to see if it is appropriate...

Also if you are an older student and want a clearer idea on what you would know about previous encounters like this, a PM to the DM is always a good avenue.

Glad to see you are enthused about the whole thing though.

If you have any questions for the Professor I will try to get them answered, and if not (as I said) I will post up a more detailed description come Wednesday of what you will see when you arrive at the Armoury.

post

I'll try to find time to post on Tuesday, otherwise work is taking up my spare time and I won't be able to post until then, maybe later.

Short and Sweet

But cutting into the action.

What I will need from everyone at this point is your plan. Evaluate the situation and then let me know what you are going to do. If you are going to go for one of the doors I need to know not only how you intend on getting through the protestestors but also what door you are going for.

Have fun!

delay

I know I said I'd post yesterday (maybe) but that obviously did not happen. Hopefully I can get something worked up this evening.

***I know I know, here it is Thursday and still no post from me, but rest assured I am working on one, actually hand writing it first in a notebook I picked up for just this purpose. That way I can write post even while away from my computer.

Awww...

That is such dedication Sheild it brings tears to mine eyes... *sniffle*

Now... as for the rest of you...

Alright, well so far we have had some potential plans laid out, and Steelight going for the goal. I will be posting up tomorrow afternoon, so if you would like your character to do more than stand in awe watching Steelight finish this alone with your thumb up your *cough* I'd suggest jotting something down for me

Thanks!

M.

Ahh Technology

I must apologize for not getting a post up. I had started working on one, but I got busy at work last week. Then when I got home this weekend my computer didn't want to play nice. Well, I suppose I'll just have to redeem myself next time.
