Don't be too worried...The doctor could have expressed it better, but he/she has a point. Since you know you ARE pregnant, but likely don't know how far along you are, there is little point in seeing you until you've had the ultrasound. At that point, the doctor knows what he/she are facing
The important thing between now and then is to get lots of rest (the biggest changes in your body happen in the first trimester, so you are surprisingly tired), eat as properly as you can and invest in the maternity vitamins. You need the extra folic acid and unless you are the type to eat lots of kale, spinach, broccoli and other dark green veg, you aren't getting enough for the baby's developing neural tubes.
