Seem to have lost my way

(sorry guys and gals, getting all the stupid questions out of the way)
I seem to have lost my way. Is The Red Dragon Inn located in the city of Bayris? Or one of the other fine cities of Audalis? Or a different land altogether? It seems I dozed while upon my horse and missed the "Welcome to ----" sign. When I awoke, I was already within city limits and came to the most likely place--an Inn. I like the vibe of the RDI and once I get my bearings, I can settle in to writing about this wonderful place and the wonderful people that patron it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, again, in advance.

Not certain I'm correct ...

... and any of the Inn-mates can correct me if I'm incorrect, but ...

I view the Red Dragon Inn, not as an establishment in Audalis, although you could probably look at it that way if it's easier. I see it more like a web-based meeting place where games of all genres, settings, levels, and types can be played or created. Audalis is just one setting that can be used as a basis for the games, much like Gamma World, Mylatra, Forgotten Realms, Planescape, Greyhawk, etc. Any of these, or none of them may be used in the games created here. Some have created their own worlds and use them as the setting for D&D, WarHammer, White Dwarf, Star Wars, Star Trek, Ravenloft, SpellJammer, etc.

The world of Audalis is a world created (and still being created) by sword/corcery/fantasy/fiction gamers and their games. A D&D game may be in progress in one land within Audalis, while a White Wolf game may be happening in yet another area of the same land. And although the twain may never meet, either or both games would and could add more depth to the overall Audalis history and description(s).

Seems simple enough in my mind, but in print it doesn't seem to look so simple. Best I could do, and I hope I haven't confused you even further ...

nice answer!

Wyrmsting is absolutely correct. The Red Dragon Inn itself does not exist in Audalis canon; the Inn itself is more a place for gamers of all stripes and interests. Audalis is the D&D/fantasy setting we have developed over the years, and while there are usually several games running within that setting at any given time, the Inn is by no means limited to it.

By the way... welcome!

Well

Since the webmaster's already got the answer in, I'll just say welcome and mention I moved this here as "Comings and Goings" is for...comings and goings I guess . Cheers.
