Whoah?

Did I just see Alacrity posting something about picking up the 4th? To boldly go where no old school DM has gone before...

Actually bought the 4th Ed. Player's Handbook myself a couple of months back, but haven't been interested enough to even read it through. After a quick look here and a quick look there, it actually doesn't seem to be as bad as I initially thought. Sure seems better in some aspects than the previous two editions. Still you can't beat the good ole 2nd Ed, not to mention the golden 1st one.

But yes, 2nd edition may be too much for some of the younger generation. It just isn't too logical and easy to adapt at times. And it too certainly has some flaws, but I think Alacrity has overcome those nicely and anyway rules don't matter that much in here.

Whoops. Went off-topic pretty well there. Soz. As for the quiet part.. Yup. Been there a number of times myself and very much so of late. Bad arm... Lovely, but very active and wants a lot of attention especially from dad who's at work all day... World's worst ISP, which I cannot change... You know, the basic excuses for not being around the Bestest RPG site there is.

But I agree with Alacrity. We need to bring the hot tub back. So get that lovely wife of yours back online.
