Worth the torture

I only watched some of the Oscars last night but the memory of Hugh Jackman in that tux was branded in my memory and will remain with me FOREVER.

Holy Wolverines...is that a hot man or what?

I've always said

Tuxedos are lingerie for men.

Ah Hugh Jackman...

There's just something about an Australian accent that gets me...
But then they had to go and ruin the moment with all that song and dance!
The oscars are always torture, but I have to say when Dustin Lance Black gave the acceptance speech for writing Milk it was all worth it.

Sigh...

Hugh Jackman can pick me up and carry me onstage ANY day! Lucky Anne Hathaway! Sorry folks, I loved the song and dance...I'm a sucker for old style musicals.

I didn't get to see the later awards, but yes, the acceptance speech for Milk was touching. I also liked having previous award winners give a small tribute to each nominee. The awards are supposed to be about recognition from your peers, and that really brought that home.

Well

Mickey Rourke should have won best actor. That disappointment soured the rest of it for me.

With the exception of Hugh Jackman's "The Reader" song. That made me laugh.
