Lycanthorpe

When making a Lycanthrope addign classes of animal and then adding normal classes on top, do you get hit points for the animal class levels in addition to class levels?

huh?

I somehow get the feeling this is not supposed to be here.

As for answering the question, I don't really know. I would guess the template would explain all this, but I haven't looked over the lycanthropes in a while. That's assuming you're talking 3.5 D&D because I know absolutely nothing about how it is done in the other systems.

Questions for anyone who knows D&D Lycanthrope

It was a D&D questioh about how Weretiger is added to base class. I have aprogram that sort of does part of it but not all, I don't know which book contains the were- templets?

So in a sense it is a general topic since there is not D&D fourm thread for information.

and yes it is a possible character for your game. Never have done on thought it owuld be interesting. but not if all I have when I end up is two class worths of hit points.

...

It's in the Monster Manual under 'Lycanthrope'. I believe weretigers are in there, although I would have to get up from my chair and get my book to make sure. But I'm too lazy to do that

It looks like there are going to be some lycanthropes in this group if you make your weretiger; we have a werewolf already. But don't let that discourage you from making your weretiger, I just thought you should know.

To answer the question about Lycanthropy...

To answer your question Bri, yes. For the HD that you gain from your levels of animal, you also gain HP. However, keep in mind, those HD are d8s, not what you would get for your other class.

TY

Thanks for the information, gboy. That saves me from leaning over from my chair to grab my monster manuals
