Farrah

I agree with you Grugg... I mourn the loss of Farrah more than Michael Jackson... he was big in his day.. but sorry to say I think his days were over about 20 yrs ago.. when he stopped making great music and began his quest to be something he isnt... which I still dont know what that is.. it remains a mystery today.

I had several posters of Farrah on my wall when I was growing up.. not one of Michael.... Farrah was a beautiful woman with a kind caring soul... she is missed.. even though her death is being overshadowed in the media.

RIP Farrah Fawcett!

Yeah well

I have to admit, that I felt more sad to hear of Farah's passing than Jacko's. Well perhaps sad isn't really the word since I knew neither of them. Oh well, whatever the case, let them both rest in peace.

I remember when I was a kid, about 5 years old, I really enjoyed the music of Michael Jackson. His music from 1980's was great and I still enjoy it today.

For that reason alone, I think he deserves a bit more than a shrug and a change of subject.

Also, I am certain than Farrah Fawcett will be sorely missed by her fans. Although I didn't know who she was until this morning, a sad day has been made even sadder by this loss.

Yes I agree with Skari. I loved Michael Jackson as a kid, and I mourn the loss of that childhood memory.

Hmm

I believe the reference is a reference to another board referencing Hamlet to be quite honest, although editing topics is fun, so I might do it again.

Maybe.

Sorta.

Different feelings

Farrah Fawcett will always be a memory of a beautiful blonde in a red swimsuit tacked over my bed as a kid.
I loved her in Charley's Angels and will miss her Sleep well Miss Fawcett you will be remembered........

As for the "King of Pop" lets just say I will sleep easier knowing that 10-12 year olds are safer today then yesterday.

RIP

I never knew much about either of them, but I think I miss Farrah more than Michael. There are some bad rumors about them which may be true or false, but either way the need not be opened in the public.I've heard one joke in particular that I thought was funny in a way but I disgusted myself by thinking so. Respect people's privacy as you would want them to respect yours.

Farrah was a nice and pretty woman while Michael was a big star that people adored as much as Farrah. Some will miss them some will not even care. For those we can just toss there disrespectful comments aside and say what we have to say and live on.

I'm getting off topic though, the main reason I posted here was because I wanted to say that some of us may mourn and some may snicker, but whatever you do at least you recognize them either way.

RIP

Talking ill on the dead...

...They say its a horrible thing.

Still, I've got to agree with YeOlde. Michael was dead twenty years ago. After Thriller, he became something that he wasn't meant to be. Still, like YeOlde, I'm not quite sure what that something was.

As for Farrah, she went through a lot more than Michael did. I'll admit, I still have the old Farrah poster my dad had when he was growing up. I put it on my wall when she passed away. She was just as influential as Michael Jackson ever was.
