Cute
I usually have to set limits on Princess Bride references, Army of Darkness lines, Meatloaf song lyrics and nostalgic retellings of past game moments from twenty years ago.
Are you accepting ideas for scripts? If so how is the best way to set them up?

sweet!
Check it out - my script ran correctly! I did not manually post this thread... the site did it FOR me! ooOOOoooOOOO!!!
Hehe, glad you like it, Al. Sure, script ideas are always welcomed. Best way is to just email them to me. Format isn't a huge deal - as you may have noticed, the number of panels per strip is variable. Typically, the gag should probably take at least four panels, but if it's a one-off type joke, it could be almost anything... there are bound to be days where we will be happy to just have something to post.

Yay Robo-Olan
The ramifications of you having a script automating actions makes me fear daily bannings.
On an unrelated note...this is such a staple of D&D sessions everywhere it had to come up.
On a thirdly unrelated note...we should have guest author...week. Or some period of time. Most of the time want to keep the author(s) constant in order to keep the characters having a similiar feel I'd think.

heh
Guest week? We've only been up a little over a week, and you already want guest strips?
Don't worry, that day will come.
Glad you are enjoying it.

Best yet.
That's the best yet. I love the movie The Holy Grail with Monty Python but putting it into a comic... genius. Hoping for many more.

So very gratifying to see that people are enjoying the comic!
I'm glad that you liked the newest version, but honestly, I cannot claim "genius" or any such title. this particular strip basically catalogs a real conversation that happened during a session I was DMing.
Of course, variants of the same conversation often happen during my games - which is why this strip was made.

Strip #3
Uncle Run-With-Scissors says; "Great scripts, great art! One and three-quarters thumbs up! (It would've been two but I cut the end of the one off because I was running with scissors.)"

for those that care
We're up to almost 2100 total page views among the various strips since launch, with almost 1000 for strip #1 alone.
Of course, big strips get many, many times that per strip per day, but it's not at all a bad start.

Loved the strip so I stopped in.
I always had the same problem in my groups but with ghostbusters quotes. Great stuff so far keep up the good work.
I actually wrote a strip about our reference problem, but without the DnD backdrop context:

Actually thinking about it, there's a lot going on in the strip with the giant optimus prime and snuggies and what not, if you want to start a few strips back so you can get the build go here:
