The subject line says it all - happy thanksgiving RDI.

My friend's a firefighter and he's warned me about deep frying turkeys - it may be delicious, but if you're planning on deep frying a turkey, be careful. That oil gets really hot and splashes around and he's expected at least three fires in his district today.

Also - did you know that, apparently they don't celebrate thanksgiving in England?! How crazy is that?

Joking, of course. But my English friends do seem put off when I message them with "Happy Thanksgiving" just for kicks. I usually get a reply like, "Stupid yank."

Anyways, joking aside:

Happy Thanksgiving. I'm half-American, so... I guess this is slightly my day, too.

It may be a lonely one and a bit sad but at least I got food in my belly, a roof over my my head, clothes on my back and good role playing games to play. Happy thanksgiving to all you at the inn.

I may be fairly absent from the Inn of late, but that doesn't mean I don't think about you folks. May your day be happy and full of thanks whether you're American, Canadian, Finnish, Icelandic, English, Australian, South American...or Texan! ;~)
