Hi everyone, I'm new here and look forward to being part of the Red Dragon Inn. Chat rooms are new to me, so please be patient with any screw-ups on my part. I've been playing role playing games since the early 90's (mostly Dungeons and Dragons), and lately most of the games I've been playing are one-shot games because of a lousy work schedule. Other games I've played include most White Wolf games, BESM, Deadlands (Weird West, Hell on Earth, & Lost Colony), Dread, GURPs, Shadow Run, and various science fiction/horror games. Currently, I'm running a 2nd edition campaign that only gets together every 3-5 months that has been going on about two years. The role playing part of the games have always been more interesting to me than the combat, and though I'm a bit rusty, I enjoy trying to "bring a character to life" with a background or through the character's actions. I look forward to discovering more about the Inn and visiting with you!

It would be really cool if someone put together a Deadlands (weird west I like best) game here at the inn. I know the rules, but with the games I'm already trying to run and work I don't think I'd have the time or the resources to put one together.

I'm actually recruiting for a Pathfinder game (two possible slots left) and the Red Wyrm School game is always recruiting if you want to practice your posting skills. That one is designed to help people adjust to the 3.5E rule set and play by post games in general. Talk to Merideth if you are interested in joining that one.
