I've been lurking around this site for about six months, and finally decided that it was time to be apart of the action! The resources at the Red Dragon Inn are invaluable to my D&D game, and I have yet to even begin to explore the intricacies of the forum. So, again, greetings, and I can't wait to start getting to know all of you here at the Inn!

Well Met, Celeste!

So glad you finally stopped peeking in our windows and joined the rest of us Innmates inside! What drew you in, what compelled you to break your silence? Was it the smell of fresh lamb stew in the kitchen? Was it the sound of revelry that was as open to new friends as old? Was it the burgeoning warmth of the fire in the hearth? Well whatever it was, I'm glad it worked! It just so happens that a traveling Gnomish trader was passing through here just yesterday, and on a hunch I bought his last bunch of magically-preserved flowers. . .for you, m'lady *offers bouquet*. Oh, and your first spiced mead is on me.

*Raises Hand Nervously* Umm...for me it was the fresh lamb stew.

Anyway, greetings to you all, travellers and wanderers, fighters and wizards, women and men, heroes and henchmen, rogues and hunters...

A big welcome

Let me be the first of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you both to our site. As you both hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll both feel quite at home here. If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

A new Dynamic Dual? Well welcome to you both. Don't worry about the drinks, there's frosty mug of "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh" awaiting you at Ody's Bar in the DragonChat room. Drop in pull up a stool and let the good times roll. Now that you've come in from cold enjoy yourself. By the way there are fresh fluff towels at the end of the bar. You'll need one later.

Here is a towel for you to hold on to... *winks* And in the mean time. Barkeep, a glass of moscato.

Welcome weary travelers! You will be warmer inside the Inn.. though maybe not as dry... hold on to those towels.. you will need them. ~glances around nervously and whispers~ Watch out for Eol!

Wow, with sooo many newbies joining up all of a sudden, you'd think somebody cast Continual Light on the Inn's sign--a beacon to shine upon the realms and draw people to their new digital home! Sounds good to me, let the party roll on--do tell your friends about us, we have the room for 'em.

*tap-tap-thumpa-Thumpa-Waggity-Wag!* Huzzah! New faces make me wonderfully happy. Well, I see your palate prefers the lighter wines, no problem your first glass is on me. But wait--I bought that Gnomes last bunch of flowers yesterday, and already gave them to Celeste OH NO!

Indeed, though I'll personally pass on the flowers, I do think this Inn is certainly far cozier than most other options.

I heartily agree with you, there's honestly no place cozier than RDI, and I feel that won't change no matter how many well-read, goofy, astute, and awesome Inn-mates we get!

Speaking of both "goofy" and "awesome," I detect a lack of something. . .some kind of "ka-spring, ka-sproing, ka-bounce, ka-POUNCE!" here in this thread. *whistles innocently*

...but it's been quite a while since we've had two new Innmates post their intros in the same thread, you know, and I've kind of gotten a little rusty where the double facelick is concerned... Had to warm up, stretch the tongue, hyper-hydrate, and all that good stuff, yeah?

I myself have been a member for a while, but due to in life problems don't come out to play as often as I'd like.

Make yourselves at home. Post your poetry, your short stories, anything you'd like. People here are usually *glances around* great and quick to post on your posts *unless you are me,...then they tend to overlook your new poems or writings*
