Opinion

My personal opinion is that it depends on the games being released for the system at the time.

I am a huge fan of GOD OF WAR, and I LOVE final fantasy 13, so for me, I would say that PS3 is the best system out there currently.

PS3, WII then Xbox360 but it all depends on your style of games...Xbox360 currently has more games available (in my opinion) but I prefer the PS3 personally.

PS3

Well I'm glad we understand eachother. Now I'm not trying to blame anyone or anything but it seems that everytime someone updates this topic after me, I get smited. Just something I've noticed, not accusing anyone.

???

I don't have a PS3, but...

I wish I had one. Yes I can play Dark Souls on Sanity - my 360 - however I have to play Demon Souls on my friend's PS3. Then again the whole reason I got a 360 in the first place was so I could play kotor... and still have access to newer games. So honestly, PS3, 360 and then PS2.

Depends on your preferences. For me, most of the titles I play are on multiple platforms, so that doesn't really matter to me. But, I play a lot of online multiplayer games, like Black Ops and MW3, and PS3 doesn't charge you for PSN (PlayStation Network)access, and that's a huge plus for me. I also like the PLayStation Plus feature, which allows member exclusive content and is only $50 a year, and gives you free games, addons and other fun things. I don't know if the Xbox 360 has anything like that. We have the huge HD with ours, and can load it up with games, movies, and music. And we downloaded software that lets us play our favorite PS2 titles.

And having played with the Kinect, i find i like the PlayStation Move a lot more reactive and accurate.

I also have a family, and family games are important to me, so the Wii is my 2nd favorite console. THe graphics aren't quite as awesome as the PS3, but the games we play are funa nd engaging and competitive.

I won't ever buy an Xbox360. i just don't see the added value in it like I enjoy with my PS3.

Well...

I read somewhere that the top 3 selling systems in order from most sales to least is:
Wii
XBOX 360
PS3
Now, I dunno if that is still true because I read that about a year ago (lol) but I personally prefer the PlayStation but I like all three systems. As some other people already said, I think the XBOX is the most popular right now but I think a lot of people buy the name (Microsoft). Now I don't wanna upset anyone so I'll say it now that this is just my opinion: the PS3 and XBOX360 are pretty much equal in every way. The only BIG differences I see are the internet access. With PS3 you don't have to pay to play online, but as of April a lot of people are uncertain about their security because of the hacking by Anonymous. With the 360 you pay for better internet connection(so I've heard, I don't own one), but at the cost of paying for service. That is the only difference I see and I honestly like both systems equally.

Sorry for the long-winded post. =]
