Desert Island Tales: a Survival Story

Short idea, because I'm on the train for 8 hours tomorrow, so will perfect it and its system on the train.

I'm planning on starting a survival-island style game, fantasy type. Naturally, amnesia at beginning, like any cliché survival game.

It'd be more of the game than the roleplay, but roleplay would give chances to develop the character and improve abilities which would lead to more developped gaming.

System would be run in the background with a few references in-game, based entirely on a d8.
Why d8? It's the only die I happen to have in physical form.
Success of actions uses rolls, and some actions can succeed but simply take longer (naturally).
Turn based: players post their actions for the following turn, I update, rinse and repeat. I'd set max. posting delay as a week, and minimum whatever is wished.

Human, elf, goblin and korrigan as races.

Anyone remotely interested?
