Today, I hope you are all able to slow down, reflect, and give thanks. Today, I give thanks that my family is finally complete. Two beautiful children, a loving partner, a roof over my head that we built with our own two hands, and clean clothes on our backs. I am truly where I want to be and I hope all of you are, as well. But today I got to see my cousin and his girlfriend for the first time in over a year, spend time with my Mor-mor and one of my aunts. Unfortunately most of my extended family wasn't there and my mom, step dad and siblings choose to go elsewhere. I now have lefse and krumkaka to munch on! I hope everyone who does celebrate Thanksgiving had a good one and for goodness sake if you are a black Friday shopper, stay safe, if you can't get what you want be patient with the clerk who is trying to help you.
