This weekend I went to downtown San Antonio to an annual gamers convention called ChimaeraCon. As the con put up quite a few pic's I thought I'd share the ones of the games I was invovled in as a few had a pic or two of me. So enjoy....

A WHOLE LOTTA FREAKING DICE

S...So many...dice *twitch*

That just looks so complicated by the way. Too many numbers and tiny things to paint.

It's two different games. The first set of pics is a game of Mech combat called Battletech. The other is a game called Circus Maximus, it's a Roman chariot race.

I don't think I take gaming seriously enough to play any games like that. The guys I've met who play 40k are terrifyingly into it. Then again, if my hobby cost me that much I'd be serious business about it too...

The chariot game looks nifty though. The figurines always impress the heck out of me. I just have no patience, energy or ability to glue together and paint them.

One of the funnest things i've done, only we used Warhammer Fantasy chariots. Looks like a great time!

Love the dice shot and the guy with the black vest playing CM has a nice hat. I need to go to Texas to get a hat someday.

Just realized, too, that the guy in the blue shirt and khakis playing CM looks exactly like a guy who works down the hall from me... Kind of spookifyin'!

Gee, that first game must take a while to play. By the size of the gamers, it looks like the loser must get eaten, lol.
