He was one of the founding fathers of role-playing games and D&D. Weird coincidence of this is that tonight I will be playing "Tomb of Horrors" with my friends that I gamed with back in the 80's. Woohoo! So whereever you are tonight, raise a glass to the Grand Dungeon Master. I understand in England they are throwing two weeks of sports events and games in his honour an athletes are coming from around the world. Who knew he was so popular! Personally I can't think of a better way to celebrate the life of the man who brought us D&D then holding a multimillion pound sports even opened by some of my countries most celebrated sports men and women, Her Royal Majesty the Queen, and attended by 204 nations from around the world. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARY GYGAX! EDIT: Just a clarification, England is not hosting the 2012 games.
