So I saw it not too long ago in the theatre of our small town. I've never really been a fan of the whole DC Superman franchise, but I know enough about him to know that they really changed some stuff up with it.
The action was fantastic, I must say. The flying sequences were very smooth and the battle was fluid; nothing like watching a bunch of indestructible flying men beat each other to a pulp.
Perhaps a favourite for me was the actor they chose for Superman. I don't know why, but I thought he was exceptional. They had his posture and demeanour all right, and his chin was superb!
Criticisms I have are pretty much in key with most other movies being created by Hollywood nowadays. They really need to stop this hangup upon the one central villain device; too many movies have made poorer impressions on me than they could have otherwise. Maybe I'm just a complainer or a stick in the mud, but it really ruins something for me.
