And that makes perfect sense... I hadn't realized that it was a city... but the name was the first thing that I *did* notice, which was why I mentioned it. And if it works for you, then use it.

Magickman - Right??? I think ALL of us have pilfered ideas from other places before.

Dragon-soul - I'm not 100% sure I want to change the name of Drasnia, at this point... I've kind of gotten used to it. That said, there are plenty of cities, towns, villages about that I haven't named and, if you'd like to contribute, please, feel free to throw some names out there! You and I have been talking, recently, about your creating a character to plop into this world, why not start with the name of the town/village/city in which he/she was born?

...if anyone is interested in getting a glimpse into what life is like in this little world of mine, there are several stories that take place here (mostly in and around Drasnia, tbh, but there are some that take place in other towns or cities). In no particular order they are:

• Prelude - Fates of Fortune - set in Drasnia, 10 years before Nyx and Cay "officially" meet
• Dancing Into the Assassin's Dawn - set before Nyx arrives in Drasnia
• The Fates of Fortune - This is "The Big One." Basically the tale of how a witch and an assassin whose hatred of one another turns out to be something else all together. It was this tale that originally inspired Merideth and I to "expand" the world beyond what she and I were originally introduced to.
• A Shadow Over Drasnia - Technically, THIS is where it all started (at least for Meri and I). The original game run by Capn Lou in which Nyx and Cay are first put together and the impetus for all the rest.
• Forgotten Truths, Hidden Lies - Set some years after the end of Fates of Fortune. This one was intended to see the rise of the Threadcutters Cabal (a guild of assassins), in the aftermath of what Meri and I planned to have happen at the end of Fates

That's most of what's posted, here, I think... As I mentioned before, I have tons of notes, sketches, maps, etc, regarding this world and, while none of the tales above are by any means "complete" (at least on the Inn), most of them give a pretty decent glimpse into what the world is like. (And most of them need my attention to edit out those annoying little question marks that resulted from our last big crash...lol)
