What are your favourite fighting games?

I've been playing Mortal Kombat a lot and I was just wondering what everyone's favourite fighting games are. I'm talking about the 1 on 1 real time fighters like Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Street Fighter etc, not turn based strategy.

Also, what are your go-to and favourite characters from each game?

My favourite fighting games are Mortal Kombat and Tekken.

My go-to character are:
Mortal Kombat: Nightwolf (my top go-to), Sindel, Scorpion, Ermrac
Tekken: Lee, King

Smash. Smash all the way. If that doesn't count under the rules.... MKX and Injustince 2 were pretty good. I like Soul Calibur as well.

I'm not too much into fighting games, but as an avid Dragon Ball fan, Dragon Ball Fighter Z has been *chef's kiss*

The fighting style and combos are so reminiscent of the game, and show, to me, just how much care and appreciation was put into this game.

Suprisingly, my stomach churns as I write this, Yamcha is not terrible. If you're able to get his techniques and combos off, he doesn't even Yamcha a little. Beerus if fun, though a little wonky to control. Teen Gohan is really fun for me, he's like the candy player--easy to pick up and fun to super. Plus, his fully boosted special, with Goku *tear*

And of course, the Prince of all Saiyans is great because, damn, it's the Prince of all Saiyans, guys.

I play a lot of Smash as well, since Melee I've mained Captain Falcon. Starting in Sm4sh I added Corrin to my roster and with Ultimate I'll be adding Joker once he's released as DLC.
I also play Guilty Gear, though not as much as I use to. Ramlethal and Jack-O are my mains for that
