Upcoming Movies

"Game" is an upcoming science fiction action thriller film written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. The film stars Gerard Butler as an unwilling participant in an online game in which participants can control human beings as players. It's in post production

Sounds GROOOOVY!! And it stars that awesome Scottish Hunk, Gerard Butler ::sigh::

good topic!

I'm looking forward to these:

-The Dark Knight
-Avatar
-Hellboy II !!!!!!
-Hancock (yeah, I know...)

And apparently 'Watchmen' is the thing to look forward to, but I haven't heard a lot about it myself.

And though the Incredible Hulk has the promising presence of Edward Norton, I don't know if it will be better than Hulk (I really like Ang Lee's version).

YESS!! "The Dark Knight"
Can't wait!! Heath Ledger looked like he made an awesome Joker! What a terrible loss

I saw something about "Hancock" last night. Still not sure what it's about but it does star my favorite actor Will Smith so it can't be bad.

"Watchmen" looks like it will be very interesting. Know who the cast is?

Hurm

Moloch is such a small part in the comic. It is almost a cameo.

Put A Smile On That Face

Looking forward to Dark Knight.

Also Hellboy and Hancock could be fun to watch.

ok

I just saw the new trailer for Hancock, and I think I'm going to take it off my MOVIES TO WATCH!!!-list. It just looks so typical now. Really too bad.

The new Dark Knight trailer is actually making me even more eager to see that movie (which I didn't think was possible).

yea

yes, indeed. The ending-part of the Hancock trailor really dissapointed me as well. You start off thinking it's going to be pretty cool...maybe...hopefully!...and then something past half-way through the trailor to the end, you see that he becomes this kind of superman-ish hero with a *shocker* attitude. ehhh...

I still want to see it. I mean, i'm willing to see other super hero movies, so we might as well see this one! It's Will Smith...he's good, even if he ends up playing a typical role.

The Sparrow

Warner Bros. Pictures has acquired the rights to sci-fi book The Sparrow for Brad Pitt's Plan B and Industry Entertainment to produce, reports Variety. Pitt has a longtime interest in the project, a potential starring vehicle for him.

Screenwriter Michael Seitzman (North Country) is adapting Mary Doria Russell's debut novel of the same name. The project was originally set up at Universal, but Warners picked up the rights to the book after Universal let them lapse.

The story revolves around a Jesuit priest who accompanies a crew of space travelers to a distant planet after Earth receives its first communication from an alien culture. The clergyman and crew befriend one of the planet's two races, unwittingly provoking a bloody war and shaking the foundations of the priest's faith.

The producers are Pitt, Industry Entertainment's Nick Wechsler and Brillstein-Grey's Cynthia Pett-Dante, Pitt's manager, who were all attached when the project was at Universal.
