Olan's thoughts for this strip:
Once again, a D&D party comes up with a convoluted plan to counteract the DM's schemes. Like any "good" plan, it will require precise timing, multiple dice rolls, and a huge helping of luck.
I'm thinking that we need a comment section here to allow readers to share their own wacky schemes that worked (or should have worked, had the DM not been such a jerk!).

Script for this strip:Amy: "Okay, we need a plan. Any ideas?"
Brad: "Let's find something heavy and pound them!"
Rich: "Sure, that worked really well so far."
Steve: "I thought it was a great idea!"
Amy (glare): "You're not helping."
Brad: "Maybe Jhim or Ladan have some spells?"
Tim: "Sorry, my mage is down to cantrips... and I doubt a magic missile or sleep would help much, even if I had them."
Rich: "Ladan's in the same boat. Out of spells now, and nothing really useful, anyway."
Ray: "I have an idea. The statues are slow, right?"
Jhim: "I'm not sure about this..."
Tim: "Why does my mage have to be the bait?"
Ray: "No useful spells, weakest party member. The statues are heavy, so we need strong arms on the ropes."
Tim: "But I'm too squishy for this!"
Brad: "Quit your whining. Unless you die."
