Yes...healing magic

Earlier on I mentioned that Karrain's healing extends to his Dessicate spell(great for removing unwanted flesh and organs) ...and we'd better hope that we never have to resort to that.

Healing Magic?

Well, I think the magical aura more or less just feels benevolent rather than malevolent to Varis.

But on that note, great to meet you, Incognito. Walker's a fascinating character...

Ah, as for healing magic? Well, Karrain (clockwork demise) can't really heal much, I believe. He fed power into a spell Varis started, beforehand, in the adventure, but he's more a warmage.

Varis himself? Well Magic from Within isn't particularly strong, and Varis is merely average in talent, and his healing talents normally don't exceed healing a small scratch or a papercut. -_-'

Of course, it seems through sheer willpower and luck he recently managed to drag someone back from death...even if it burnt up Varis' own stores of energy for a time. Mind you, Varis is known for his luck...

Healing Magic!

Yeah you sort of hit the nail on the head; sort of like an aura of ... aliveness. Magical. But...vital. Alive. Nothing inherently benevolent, but a sense of aliveness could certainly feel as such to someone.

And hey, it's all good, I'm sure Karrain's spell could come in handy, but Walker's talents mostly just lie in his trusty ol' hands.

Do you need both of them?

Oh, that's good, 'cause mine centre around removing them...and the rest of peoples' bodies...yeah I think you get the picture.

Anybody got a GM?

By the way, has anyone seen Darren? Varis is stuck until Bon mentions something, and I haven't seen a post from him in a little while.

Not that I'm complaining...as I'm certainly not one to talk with my absence. -_-'

Ah, yes, Darren...

That guy... he's kinda tied up with exams.

Sorry, but updates will be slow until about the end of June. One per week, at max. I apologise muchly.

After that it'll be fine, though.

So, these "Knights"

The Knights of New Smythia are, as the name suggests, an order of knights who are a part of the New Smythian forces. Separate from the actual army, they are nonetheless a formidable part.

It is said that the Knights are elite troops, but the most elite among them are recruited into the New Smythian Task Forces. Basically, special ops.

This should surprise everyone, because... well, if they ARE Knights or Task Force troops, what are they doing here? If not, why do these "medics" march exactly like that (seeing as they're medics in Tithuana)?

Varis may not be wrong by mentioning that some worked for a noble house. If he's right, it'd make sense that these ones be educated, as they're in Tithuana and therefore will have had contact with knowledge.

NOTE: Tithuana and New Smythia are quite far away, and the inhabitants of the second have much more pressing matters, such as a WAR! Without wishing to generalise, New Smythians like killing people. Not helping.

Well, at least the barn isn't on fire...

I feel that I should explain this short side trip of mine. As I mentioned on my character sheet Karrain has to 'chanell' for a few hours each day, whilst this time he can simply abuse the massive amount of energy at his disposal and fend off the worst of the Mana Shard's effects at later dates he will have to spend his full 3 hours.
I thought it would be a useful way to introduce that quirk and explain a little more bout the Mana Prison and Body, even if Sy'karios has appeared, again.

Time to play a card...

I play Lazy GM (spell).

Cost= 0

Players have to continue the narrative by talking, as no extra events are going to happen anytime soon. You've got enough going as it is
