Fresh out of prison

I just got out after 10 long years and find myself on house arrest. I am so Jonesing for a game. Someone let me know what edition, what classes are allowed, what books I can use, etc. I am a long time gamer with roots set in D&D. Yes, the origional, I started playing back in 1979.

As I speak

I think I speak for many when I ask, 'What were you in prision for?'

I'm sorry, I don't have any games under the starters orders at the moment though, the inn is generaly being a bit slow unfortunatly, maybe you can get things going a bit more.

Well

I won't judge you for it and I hope no one else here will, I hope that we are in a very forgiving community here but my smite total might disprove that.

I am interested in your planescape game mainly because I don't know what planescape is, maybe you could enlighten me.

welcome

Hey Abraxis,

Welcome to the Red Dragon Inn! Hopefully you'll have a great time roleplaying here. You're definitely at the right address for a game. If you look around in the Recruitment area you'll find all sorts of openings in different types of games.
If you don't mind learning about new editions of D&D, there is an Eberron game starting that I know about. Also, most DMs don't mind translating a character from 2nd to 3rd or higher editions, or helping you make one.

In any case, we hope you'll have fun here. That's what we're here for!

planescape

My planescape post was in response to a query from someone else. I do have a 20 level multi-planar campaign ready though. I created it for some kids at Johns Hopkins, so it's not for dummies.

Welcome.

Welcome to the Red Dragon Inn, Look about for games If D &D is what you play there is 2 ed (AD&D and 3.5 for the most part) You can find games listed in the D&D forum section.

There are Star Trek Games, Star Wars, White Wolf, several free form games, some loosely based on D&D, Star Trek or even home brewed games.

Hope you find a couple that interest you.
