Description: Nearly 7 feet tall, Diva towers over the humans and most other creatures who work alongside her within Helm’s Temple. Her scales are bronze and strong, though marred and seemingly disheveled in places, indicating wounds from past battles. She strikes an impressive figure, strong and stoic, ready to heal a battalion or rain lightning and thunder down on her foes at a moment’s notice.
History: Diva was brought to the steps of Helm’s temple as a child, the first day of a massive storm that lasted for weeks. Her parents knew they would likely never return from the battle that lay ahead of them, and so left their child in the protection of the protector god himself. Diva learned of their demise on the last day of the storm, and raged, as though challenging the storm itself. While the priests and priestesses felt Diva’s loss, they found this display more impressive than anything else. She clearly held a great power within her, and began her training immediately.
Though strong in both body and command of the storm, Diva’s desires and greatest assets formed more in line with healing the battle wounded, slinging spells that would give her allies advantages over their foes, and bringing back to life their fallen soldiers, that they may then return home to their families.
She became a true force of nature. The armies she marched with could endure any battle, and enemies came to fear the troops who approached them beneath ominous black clouds streaked with lightning and rolling with deafening thunder. They came to be known as the Tempest Legions of Diva,.
The only battle they ever lost was the last one Diva would remember. As rain and light fell down across the battlefield, Diva was struck a finishing blow by a ballista bolt. Overkill, for one dragonborn, however her enemies no longer thought of her as just one dragonborn. She was an entity, an otherworldly being. And now, finally, she was dead.
