That makes sense to me re: subtypes.

Roger - Baggins, Tooks, etc fall under "realistic", I think.

Baggins, Boffers, and Tooks...

...are under the "realistic" category, Rog.

Another thought re: subtypes

What kind of consideration might be given to surnames/naming conventions based upon the Cidal sub-races, and, would adding a filter for such a thing be worth the effort?

For example, I can see surnames such as Hightree, Greenbough, and Slimbody being more prevalent among the Picks; Goodloam, Stoutfoot, and Goodmead seem to me to be more Stump-like; and Honeymead, Baker, and Sweetrye falling more in line with the Loavens.

Just spitballing/brainstorming, here, and thought I'd throw it out there before it slipped my mind.

If you checked the dropdown, I had originally set it for Stumps, Picks, and Loavens.

But I've since decided that we'd be looking at triplication of effort here... and it's probably more up to the playr generating.

Maybe add some text to the page descibing how names tend to vary among the subraces... but when all is said and done, they can and do interbreed, so if the lines are blurred, it's not "wrong".

Good deal!

Like I said, the thought just occurred to me and, admittedly, I didn't check the interface before I went "running-off-at-the-post."

You know me and world-building; sometimes I go waaaaaaaay out there and think too much for my own good.

Pshaw!

Thanks, boss!

It's only taken me a year or so to write a complete sentance in Kazari.
