On-line Gaming

So how many of you out there are online gaming using real time virtual sites like Roll20 and Fantasy Ground? I would like to hear opinions and thoight form those who use them frequently and those that used them and walked away.

Talk to me, people.

Man, I thought you were going to try to hook me into some Overwatch with you.  I am disappointed.

Roll20

I've messed around with Roll20 a little bit myself, but most of my experience has been playing in Roll20 games that other GMs have put together. As far as I can tell, you can do a lot with the free version, but doing the membership is really where it's at. I've had a couple issues with some of the interface, but the mechanics and customization can be fun to play around with and implement.

Brom actually introduced me to Roll20 some time back - we were playing his "Bring Me That Horizon" game, actually.

I wouldn't call myself a "frequent user"  by any means, but, following my first experience with it (which was way more enjoyable than I had imagined it would be), I gained an appreciation for it that I hadn't expected. There's a bit of a "learning curve" involved, I think, but once you get past figuring out how everything works and such, I found it a very entertaining and useful forum for playing "live" or even simply as a supplemental sort of tool for PbP.
